Description
The present painting, produced as a pendant to TN19, also shows a characteristic group of cattle in a generic Italianate setting. As with other Dutch and Flemish paintings at Trewithen, it may have been acquired by John Heywood Hawkins (1802–1877) of Bignor Park, West Sussex.
